Offroad SOS — Terms of Service

Last updated: 2 July 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Offroad SOS app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Not an emergency service. Offroad SOS is a community assistance and trip-planning tool for vehicle and terrain situations. It is not a substitute for official emergency services (police, ambulance, civil defense, search & rescue) and must not be used for medical emergencies. In any medical or life-threatening emergency, always contact your local emergency number first. We do not guarantee that any helper will respond, arrive, or be qualified.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

2. Acceptable use

3. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, videos, messages, trip/community posts). You grant Offroad SOS a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service (e.g., showing your photo to trip members). You are responsible for your content and for the people you share it with.

4. Communities & trips

Community owners and trip organizers manage membership and content within their groups. You are responsible for your own safety and decisions when joining trips or responding to SOS requests. Ratings and reviews must be honest.

5. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Google/Apple sign-in, map providers, push notification providers). Their terms and privacy practices apply to their portions of the experience.

6. Termination

You may delete your account at any time (see the Account & Data Deletion page). We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect users.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that any assistance will be provided.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Offroad SOS and its providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service, including interactions with other users or reliance on assistance features.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the UAE, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
